13/06/2019 Class 1 met the Queen today. KS2 held an afternoon tea party for her in the corridor and Tommy-Lee wanted to wish her a very Happy Birthday. Here he is singing it beautifully...
05/06/2019 Tommy-Lee celebrated his 5th birthday with his class friends this week. We had a lovely party and ate his cake! Have a lovely weekend guys :)
Class 1 have been very busy this last week exploring our new topic The Circus. We have had tonnes of fun creating our own clown hats, nose and mouth photo props, custard pie splats and making our own paper plate clowns.
Class 1 have been exploring Chinese New Year and the traditions surrounding it. We have made our own Chinese dragons and participated in a dragon dance. We have also explored Chinese writing and created our own.
In Class 1 we have been learning about space. We dressed as astronauts and travelled in our own class rocket to Venus and Saturn. We had so much fun :0 Have a great weekend!

We explored fake snow, snowy cloud dough and snowflakes before making our Christmas Fair gifts and crafts. We enjoyed watching the snow fall on the SMART board whilst listening to relaxing music.
We enjoyed watching a puppet show in our side classroom- we could see various shapes and shadows. We used our torches to explore colours.
We enjoyed a yoga session with Sally exploring the story Dear Zoo. We used our bodies to create animal shapes and movements.

We explored Autumn animals in class and created squirrel and hedgehog paintings using leaves and brown paint.
We love to explore our class outdoor area and early years playground. Lots of climbing, sand and water play and other fun activities such as car races.
