Today we did firework Yoga!
We have been identifying electrical toys that light up, make sounds and move.
We are looking at the World's Resources in geography. Today we made our own wind turbines and took them outside to try and get them to spin around.
Class 11 have really been benefiting from their Yoga sessions. This week we did Autumnal Yoga before our relaxation time.
This week in history we practised a Tudor dance in a circular formation. Then we made a model of the Globe Theatre.
We have been having lots of fun using sources of light in all areas of our learning!
Today in science we made a shadow puppet show! We acted out the story of Humpty Dumpty!
This weeks our maths lesson was Harvest Festival themed!
Today we tracked our shadows in the playground at different times of the day. We stood on our own 'x' and our friends drew around our shadows.
Today we pretended to be Tudor children writing in class with a quill.
Today is Jeans 4 Genes day. To celebrate, we decorated a unique pair of jeans because we are all special in our own ways.
Today in Art we went to the sensory room to look at ourselves and our friends in the mirrors. We used these images to create fun self portraits!
In our science topic on 'Light' we have been looking at the dangers of the sun. Today we made sun catchers and then kitted ourselves out to stay safe!
This week we had fun exploring sources of light in science!
Class 11 have been exploring 2D shapes. We made some shapes on the carpet using tape and then went around their outlines with blocks.
