Welcome to Class Eight
World Book Day 2019
This week we have been engaging with the number rhyme '5 Little Ducks'. We took our maths lesson to the swimming pool!
Class 8 have enjoyed making pancakes! We tried flipping them too!
We loved the Lego exhibition at Chester Zoo today!
Today we set up a snowman experiment. We made a snowman using bicarbonate of soda and white conditioner. Then we poured white vinegar over him and watched as he bubbled and melted!
Class 8 have had fun mark making in the snow.
As part of our healthy eating project, we have made frozen fruit ice lollies! They were delicious!
In geography we are exploring The North Pole. This week we have been making an Arctic Walrus.
Some of us had great fun at gymnastics this week.
This term we are exploring measurement in topic maths. Today we hunted for big and small animals at the zoo.

LOTC had great fun selling all of their enterprise gifts at Stanley School's Christmas Markets. Thank you for all your support!
Today we created rain art. We took beautiful photographs outside with an umbrella and then made a background for them using watery paint. We are all very proud of our art work in class 8!
We took teddy to the park today. We followed positional instructions to climb 'on' and 'in' different equipment at the park.
This week we have been exploring Autumn poetry. We made a hedgehog out of Autumn leaves.
