REVEREND PETER FROGGATT: ASSOCIATE MEMBER
I am Vicar of Christ Church Barnston with St Michael’s Pensby and I have been visiting Stanley School since I came to this part of Wirral in 2011. Previously I was Vicar of St Peter’s Church in Rock Ferry and before that a curate at St Andrew’s Church in Bebington. Before becoming a vicar I have been a volunteer youth worker in Liverpool, an Economics teacher in York, a waiter in North Yorkshire, a music teacher in Calcutta and a student in Durham and Oxford. I have been a governor at The Dell Primary School in Rock Ferry and, for a short while, at what was then UAB School by Birkenhead Park.
I am married to Ruth, an adoption social worker, and we have three children. They all live at home and are working or studying locally. I enjoy cycling, partly as a way of keeping fit for climbing the Munro’s (the Scottish mountains over 3000 feet). I've got 85 to go!
I have loved coming into Stanley School, whether it is for assemblies or to see shows or end of term celebrations, and I am very glad to be helping the school as a governor.
