Stanley school shares a site with our mainstream partner Pensby Primary School. This gives us a wonderful unique opportunity for some of our pupils to access regular timetabled integrated activities with their Pensby Primary School peers.  These sessions are very much tailored to each individual child; they complement their existing Stanley curriculum and are fully supported by a teaching assistant who is familiar with their needs.

The children are encouraged to establish relationships with a wider group of peers and adults helping to extend their learning, social development, communication and play skills. Additionally, it gives them a wonderful opportunity to try new activities, initiate ideas, make new friends,  build their confidence and become part of a wider school community through their shared experiences.

The children are able to access a wide variety of integrated activities from playtimes and singing assemblies to science, literature, cookery, signing choir, music, art and drama.
