Robins
Welcome to Robins Class – our class of 5–7 year-old children following the Indigo pathway. We are a group of children who are learning, growing and discovering the world around them through play, exploration and meaningful experiences.

Our Team
Class Teachers: Ceri and Sophia
Support Staff: Sean, Helen, Ange, Kay, Rachael,
We work together as a team to ensure every child receives the support and encouragement they need throughout the school day.
Robins Class works as a therapy class, focusing on specialised teaching. We support our children across two classrooms; the main Robins classroom and our smaller "Robins Nest." We provide a highly individualised approach to learning, recognising that every pupil has their own strengths, needs and ways of engaging with the world around them.
Our curriculum focusses on developing communication, independence, sensory regulation and engagement through a range of specialist approaches, including Tacpac, JABADAO, Positive eye and Hand Class. We make the most of small-group learning and continuous provision, creating opportunities for pupils to access learning in ways that are meaningful and appropriate for them.
We work hard on communication and transitions, helping pupils understand what is happening now and what is coming next. We use small, consistent transitions throughout the school day to build confidence, predictability and independence.
Our second room, Robins Nest, provides a calm and supportive space where pupils can work on sensory regulation. This helps them to feel settled, regulated and ready to engage with their learning.
At Robins Class, we celebrate every achievement, however big or small, and strive to create a nurturing environment where every pupil feels safe, valued and able to succeed.
