School Council
Our School Council Team are involved in a new fundraising project with other Merseyside Schools this year. In the past we have successfully fundraised for various different charities including the Trussell Trust Foodbank and the Samaritans Shoebox Appeal. This year they wanted to do something different so they decided to talk to other school council teams across Merseyside to discuss a new focus.
They recently attended a meeting at Bluebell Park School in Liverpool to discuss ideas about how we can help others in our local community.
In the summer term we will be attending a very special event at Liverpool Town Hall where we will meet with the other Merseyside Schools to celebrate our charity work and showcase our fundraising efforts. We have invited the Mayor or Wirral who will be coming along to support us.
We are also hosting a learning walk here at our school later this term where we will invite other school council members from other SLD schools across Merseyside to join us for the day. This is a chance for us to show off our wonderful school and celebrate the good work of the school council and all of the children here at Stanley.
Stay tuned for out latest activities and initiatives.
Many thanks for your support!
